A car is not necessary as all facilities are close by (shops, restaurants, beach etc) although useful for travelling further afield (ferry 1Km, horse riding 10 Km, Golf 30 Km etc). Our House Manager provides an airport transfer service (at cost).

Further Details
Playa Blanca is at the southern most tip of the island, this once fishing village has been developed into a peaceful resort with lots of safe beaches, all south facing and thus sheltered from the prevailing wind. Along the shore there is a promenade, which runs the whole length of this area. Restaurants overlook the main beach where you can have a drink or meal whilst keeping an eye on your children playing on the beach. The majority of the shops and restaurants of the area are located here.
