Early Morning Swim

The pool sits in the lovely garden at Windy Edge, 32ft x 16ft and 5ft6 maximum depth, it is a good size for all the family. An internal pool light enables night-time swimming.

All meals are usually taken on the wide verandah that surrounds the house with its breathtaking view over the Caribbean.

Front Garden

This gives you an idea of the lush vegetation of Tobago. Everywhere there is something new to see, a path to explore and a view to admire. A line of King Palms leads to the house.

Motmot

Motmot visiting us! A pair live in the garden and come with many other birds to the feeding wall in the front of the house. The garden is paradise for birds (and birdwatchers).

Verandah

The verandah is a wonderful place to relax with friends for breakfast, have afternoon tea and game of scrabble, or catch the last rays of the sun before your sundowner.

Fishermen

Parlatouvier is one of the many little fishing villages up the Caribbean coast, when the catch comes in in the afternoon you can buy kingfish or snapper to take home for supper.

Favourite beach

Little Bacolet Bay is our nearest beach. With the palms leaning over the water, waves lapping the sand and a clear blue sky life cant get much better than this.

Sunset

In the evening sit on the verandah sipping a rum punch and watch the sunset. Every night between 6 and 6.30 a humming bird goes to bed in the bourganvilla nearby, so shhhh....

 
A large secluded family house in panoramic location with superb sea views. Extensive mature gardens planted with fruit trees/plants (oranges grapefruit papaya mango avocado pineapple and banana) and many species of exotic flowers which provide a riot of colour. Disabled AccessRestricted. We are able to offer restricted facilities for disabled and/or wheelchair access. The house is on one level so suitable for wheelchair use, the garden is mainly level ground, see below under noteworthy features.
Child FriendlyYes. Our facilities are child friendly. Children adore Windy Edge but adults should be aware that the pool is unfenced. There is a large garden for them to play in and the beach is only minutes away. The veranda provides shade for little ones in the hottest part of the day.
Pets AllowedNo. We are sorry, pets cannot be accommodated.
Noteworthy FeaturesWindy Edge is suitable for both old and young. The house is on one level and the garden is mainly level too. For bird-lovers it is paradise as their are about 40 different species who visit us regularly.

Further Details
Local supermarkets are good, and fruit and vegetables can be purchased from small roadside stalls. Market in Scarborough is lively and well worth a visit. Fish is sold at many of the beaches when the catch comes in. Banks, chemists, clothes shops and cashpoint in Scarborough.
