Adra is a lively market town and fishing port and boasts a host of shops, banks, a cultural centre and cinema, indoor swimming pool and sports centres, and a 1km long "paseo". The village itself consists mostly of 200 Spanish and centres mainly on the church and community centre and a traditional way of life .
