Medieval Korcula is just across the straits while beautiful Ston and Dubrovnik are easy day trips.

The villa is located in a small hamlet of about 12 houses built during the 18th century and connected by old stone streets, many of which contain steps. The villa is accessed via a 100m walk from the road up a stone street. As such, this property is probably not suitable for wheelchair access, and may not be suitable for persons with other kinds of mobility (e.g. knee and/or hip) problems.

The food in the local markets is deliciously fresh and very good value. Most of the food is grown locally so you can be assured that what you are eating is in tiptop condition and not nutritionally devalued by long journeys and freezing.
If you want to eat fresh fish at the villa, we advise you to make an early visit to the fish market in nearby Orebic town (ten minutes drive). Here you can also find a greengrocer, butcher, bakery and a bank as well as gift shops and three supermarkets.
Even closer, there is a small supermarket in Viganj itself.
