The house is situated 5 minutes from Arrecife (the Island capital) and has views of the mountains, coastline and Fuerteventura.
The owners live on site, so lots of advice about the island, it's restaurants, places of interest, best beaches, and value for money shops is available.

The bedroom (which faces the pool) is twin bedded with fitted wardrobes, bedside table, rugs and mirror. In the winter we use summer weight duvets and extra blankets are available if needed.
Windows are fitted with mosquito nets.

The bathroom is large and airy, and has a toilet, bidet, wash basin and shower.
This apartment has large double doors facing the pool area and is under the main terrace giving extra shade. These doors lead into a large living area with Satellite TV and video recorder, coffee table, two large sofas, corner unit with lamp, music centre, rugs and occasional table.

There is a laundry room with washing machine, essential to avoid that awful holiday hand washing!

The kitchen area has a breakfast bar, microwave, kettle, toaster, ceramic hob, extractor fan, fridge freezer and all utensils needed for a self catering holiday. Smoke alarms and fire blankets are fitted.
External facilities

There is a side door by the kitchen leading to a private patio area which receives the evening sun and has views over the mountains.
The large heated pool is approx.11 x 4.5 metres and gets the sun all day long. Underwater lights make evening swimming romantic and exciting. The pool area is enclosed by a high wall and gates, making it safe for young children, and the sunbathing area surrounding the pool is very spacious with two large umbrellas for shade. The grounds have ample sunbeds, chairs, tables and a barbeque area.
The property occupies a large plot with shady terraces, large heated pool, and tropical gardens. Within the gardens are papaya, mandarin, lemon, apricot, fig, banana, orange, guava, coconut and pomegranate trees, plus date palms and vines. Many varieties of cactus are also evident amongst the geraniums, roses and amaryllis, to name but a few of the varied plants and shrubs.

This apartment also has large cupboard storage and extra shelving for all your holiday equipment. All apartments are supplied by large water heaters ensuring plentiful hot water. We supply fans for exceptionally hot weather, but all the accommodation is cool and airy.

The beach at Playa Honda is 5 minutes drive away. A fabulous sandy beach with showers, restaurants and a promenade walkway that stretches from Arrecife to the old town in Puerto del Carmen some 8 kilometres away.
All major beaches at Puerto del Carmen are 5/10 drive away and at Costa Tequise 10/15 minutes away. Nudist beaches at Papagayo are 25 minutes away.
Casa Kernow is perfectly situated for visiting the wonderful attractions that Lanzarote has to offer. The Fire Mountains of Timanfaya, Mirador del Rio , El Golfo, Los Hervideros, Jameos del Agua, Jardin de Cactus, Cueva de los Verdes, Fundacion Cesar Manrique, the Aquapark and Rancho texas are all easily accessed from Casa Kernow.

There is a golf course 15 mins drive away at Costa Tequise and 2 new ones proposed, one of which is under construction 5 mins drive away at Puerto del Carmen, the other is to be at Playa Blanca 20 mins away.

The best supermarket is 5 minutes drive away and all banks etc are easily accessible. The Deiland shopping mall is 5 minutes away with bowling alley, cinema, and masses of shops and restaurants.
Everywhere on the island is within 45 minutes drive of Casa Kernow. Most large towns and centres with bars, restaurants, clubs are only 5/10 mins away

Changeover day is Thursday. Departure by 1000hrs and arrival at 1400hrs. This allows time for apartment cleaning. In exceptional circumstances we can changeover on another day.
